Privacy
Mac Masters may keep a record of your computer’s hardware and software profile. You agree that beyond the Personal Information identified in the Privacy Policy, any information or data disclosed or sent to Mac Masters over the telephone, electronically or otherwise, is not confidential or proprietary to you. Mac Masters will not share or disclose my personal data to any third party without a court order.
Estimated Completion Time
Mac Masters repairs computers & devices on a first-come, first-served basis. We may give you an estimate of when your computer might be completed, but this is not a guaranteed completion time. You will be called when your computer or device is completed.
Ownership
You must own the computer or device that you bring in for repair. Mac Masters is not responsible for completing work on devices with misrepresented ownership.
Liability
During the process of repair, data may get damaged or, at worst, deleted. You are responsible for backing up your own data. Mac Masters is not liable for any damage or loss of data to your computer, unless you opt for a premium backup service provided at an additional cost. Please be advised that it is your responsibility to understand the impact of installs/upgrades/removals to the operating system, applications, and utility system. Some problems can only be resolved by completely erasing or restoring the devices to default settings and reinstalling the operating system. You acknowledge and agree that Mac Masters shall not be responsible under any circumstance for loss, alteration or corruption of any data or for your inability to use your equipment or product.
Abandonment
We will notify you once your computer or device is ready to be picked up. We will not attempt to contact you more then three (3) times. If your equipment is not picked up within sixty (60) days, whether it is paid for or not, will become the property of Mac Masters. Emails and SMS messages are considered electronic communication. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. You consent that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
Apple, Mac, iPhone, iPod, iPad, MacBook, iMac and the like are registered trademarks of Apple, Inc. Mac Masters is an independent computer service provider and has not been authorized by, sponsored or otherwise affiliated with Apple, Inc. Mac Masters offers customization options and modifications to your Apple products & devices. Such modifications include, but are not limited to, iPhone, iPad, iPod & Mac colors, stickers, etching, LED logos & alternate finishing choices that are not compliant with Apple’s original stock device colors. Apple, Inc. does not endorse creative modifications to Apple devices and thus might not honor its standard warranty.
Warranty
A limited warranty will be provided at no cost to the customer on parts and labor for sixty (60) days from the repair date. The warranty only covers malfunction of parts caused by manufacturer defect or installation error. Warranty will not cover physical or cosmetic damages, nor customer negligence or neglect after service has been rendered unless customer purchases an extended warranty for their device.
Warranty will be not be offered on either parts or service if the customer requests work be done on parts that they themselves supply. Mac Masters does not warranty repair services on customer-provided parts. No limited warranty will be granted for water-damaged devices and inoperable devices that cannot power on and be verified and tested for eligibility by technician.
Payment
By signing below you, the customer, agree to pay the total amount for repairs or services performed. Mac Masters has no obligation to render any services listed on customers service repair work order if the customer fails to make the required payments. For Diagnostic & Support services Mac Masters charges a reasonable hourly rate per service requested. The hourly rate is based on the time spent on each job, not based on a per job completed rate. A nonrefundable troubleshooting tech support fee of either $125 for On-site support, $95 for In-house Mac computer repair/support, and $49 for any mobile device will be required in order to properly diagnose the issue and formulate an estimate. If you choose to pursue the repair with Mac Masters, we will be happy to apply this troubleshooting fee toward the total cost of repair services. Payment method is cash, or major bank card.
